So I found time to do the Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Hubby came home earlier than expected from a bachelor party weekend so I was able to snap some shots!

As mentioned, Hubby is home from his fun weekend so I am relieving myself of all motherly duties for the remainder of the afternoon. I'm going upstairs to veg out in front of the TV, maybe doze in bed, maybe finally hem those hallway curtains, perhaps I'll shower... maybe I'll shower and then go walk around the mall. Who knows!

I'm taking time out for me is what I'm doing! :)

Scavenger Hunt Sunday ~ April 3, 2011

Scavenger Hunt Sunday Items: High Key, Bedroom, Something Tiny, Off in the Distance, and Stripes

{High Key ~ So I initially took a picture of a key that the previous owners of our house left on top of a door frame that we still haven't moved. Then I saw Ashley's picture and... figured it meant something different. So I switched it up and ended up editing a picture of Snowdrop that I took this morning. I cropped it down quite a bit so I could get in close to her beautiful eyelashes. They are so long!! Between this week's banana necklace, high heels, and camera case hat ~ I beginning to think she is destined for the fashion industry.}

{Bedroom ~ the door to Snowdrop's bedroom. I did the painting, no it's not even, but I love it anyways! It's a really old knob and doesn't work well, which is why we have a latch.}

{Off In the Distance ~ and under the green arrow is the house Hubby almost bought. You can see the white windows. Well, it's the one that accepted his offer the same day I found out I was pregnant back in 2007. It's about five blocks from us and while things didn't work out (due to the inspection) we know it was for the best. The house was not meant to be. But it is fun to drive past it every now & then. Especially when they had all the trouble with their roof and sewer. I mean, sure we felt bad for them. But inside, we were high-fiving ourselves for not being them. Although now that I'm remembering the kitchen... ;)}

I would not have noticed the tiny feather, had I not stooped down to get this next shot (see below), which is not party of Scavenger Hunt Sunday but I'm sharing it here anyways because I really like it..

{Stripes ~ in Snowdrop's room, in the dormer window hallways. I love these stripes!! The red parts were supposed to be thinner in width, unfortunately we didn't know red paint leaked so much and had to widen them to reduce the runovers.}

Scavenger Hunt Sunday ~ March 20, 2011

I love that I'm finding the time this weekend to participate in Ashley Sisk's Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I really enjoy it and I'm glad I could link up this week! I'm pulling from the archives, nothing farther than a year ago though. Is that bad? It's the best I can do this week! :) It's 1:04am, I won't have time to go on a hunt tomorrow and I'm too tired to take pictures {but not so tired I'm ready for bed, make sense?} 

Here we go! The items this week are:

Scavenger Hunt Sunday ~ January 16, 2011

I'm SUPER excited that I managed to scavenge for pictures TWO Sundays in a row! I'm on a roll. ;) I struggled today a little bit, I really wanted to pull from my archives. BUT. I. Didn't. And I managed to get my pictures anyways. I'm really not crazy about the "Half" picture I took today. Meh {shoulders shrug}, I just don't like it. I immediately thought of my very best friend, my sister from another mother, and my very true other half. But she lives 300 miles away. So... I couldn't really hop on over to her place {much to my chagrin} and snap her portrait. Oh well. I LOVE my abstract picture. I actually took it last night, at the very ripe time of 11:50pm, but I'm using it today for SHS because even though I didn't take it this morning it totally works for abstract. {It's also my Day 15 picture so act surprised when you see it on Friday... two birds, one stone, and I'm feeling good!}

I feel really stupid about what happened yesterday with my Seen & Heard post! I really need to remember that when I draft something and then publish a few days later, that it's gonna publish on the draft date instead of the date I'm actually publishing. I was excited to begin. Oh well. Ooh, and one last random. My camera has been set on the wrong time for... who knows how long! I went to take a picture last night for Day 15, but when I turned on my camera, it said it was January 16th. I think it has something to do with Daylight Savings Time, but I'm not sure. No big deal, I fixed the time. But of course, the OCD in me is now going nuts that our pictures are timed wrong. I know ~ I'm a lunatic.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday ~ On Tuesday! :)

I'm back for a Scavenger Hunt Sunday! I think I only did this once before ~ I really enjoyed it, and now that it's a new year well, I'm back. :) All of these images are SOOC except for the one of me. It was really dark, so I lightened it ~ nothing major.

{Sidenote. I have a screaming 3 year old on a naughty step and it's totally disrupting my train of though so yeah. @#%&}

EDITED to say: Ok. I lied. But only because I forgot! I DID edit the Innocence picture. I made it B&W but I also cloned out the remote control that was sitting next to the baby. It took me a few minutes but it wasn't that difficult to do, and using the clone tool on hardwood floors actually helped me figure out how it worked. Neat! I'll be using that trick again. And again! :)
