Willette Designs is offering a FREE 28-day online class, based on the other Finding the Joy classes!! How FUN!! How NICE of her to make this FREE!! I love free things, and I love expanding my horizons. This class will be an excellent way for me to expand my photography and I think it will also, and more importantly, make me use my brain. Something I feel I haven't been doing much of since I became a Mom. So yeah, I'm excited for school! :)
Check out Willette Designs for more information and to sign up!

Paper Heart Camera ~ Looking Up

Photography love...
The Paper Heart Camera ~ Looking Up
{this must be what snowdrop sees when she's trying to escape up the stairs!}
{the ceilings on our first floor are in excess of 19 feet high. the staircase, to the second floor, has too many steps. this is merely a shot of half of them. remarkably, we've only two incidents of children falling down them. and even then, they only went halfway! yikes!!!}

Scavenger Hunt Sunday ~ January 16, 2011

I'm SUPER excited that I managed to scavenge for pictures TWO Sundays in a row! I'm on a roll. ;) I struggled today a little bit, I really wanted to pull from my archives. BUT. I. Didn't. And I managed to get my pictures anyways. I'm really not crazy about the "Half" picture I took today. Meh {shoulders shrug}, I just don't like it. I immediately thought of my very best friend, my sister from another mother, and my very true other half. But she lives 300 miles away. So... I couldn't really hop on over to her place {much to my chagrin} and snap her portrait. Oh well. I LOVE my abstract picture. I actually took it last night, at the very ripe time of 11:50pm, but I'm using it today for SHS because even though I didn't take it this morning it totally works for abstract. {It's also my Day 15 picture so act surprised when you see it on Friday... two birds, one stone, and I'm feeling good!}

I feel really stupid about what happened yesterday with my Seen & Heard post! I really need to remember that when I draft something and then publish a few days later, that it's gonna publish on the draft date instead of the date I'm actually publishing. I was excited to begin. Oh well.
Ooh, and one last random. My camera has been set on the wrong time for... who knows how long! I went to take a picture last night for Day 15, but when I turned on my camera, it said it was January 16th. I think it has something to do with Daylight Savings Time, but I'm not sure. No big deal, I fixed the time. But of course, the OCD in me is now going nuts that our pictures are timed wrong. I know ~ I'm a lunatic.

Moving Forward without futhur ado (yes, I love that phrase) .... Scavenger Hunt Sunday! :)

1. A Different View
{i love a good hand & foot crouch.}

4. Hair
{her sisters didn't have this much hair, until much later!}

5. Half
{my better halves, here at home... since my best friend, and true better half (sorry honey!), is 300 miles away! i miss you lady!}

Seen & Heard Saturday ~ January 15, 2011

**Edited to say that I am SO SORRY this got screwed up! I started this post on January 11th, and just realized (now, 7:45pm Saturday) that when I published it last night (at 2am....), it posted in between posts that went up around the 11th and not on today. So anyways, link up! :) Geez, hopefully next week I'll have the hang of this blogging-thing. LOL. ;)

Welcome to the very first official Seen & Heard Saturday here at my blog! It's the sort of post where we can share pictures, quotes, short stories of cute or funny or strange things that have happened with our kids (or whoever, whatever) this week! I don't want to limit this to only people who have kids, so if you have something you've Seen & Heard this week and want to share ~ well please do share it! :)
Grab my button for your post and link up so we can check out what's been Seen & Heard at your place! Now let's get started!

"But I don't want Him to be hurting." ~ Junie, regarding Jesus on the cruicifix in the hallway at school. I had to explain to her why Jesus had blood on his hands and feet. She has such a great (meaning big) interest in God and Jesus and Mary, and an obvious love for them; she's talked so much recently about them.

"I want to be a big girl so I can drink DaddyBeer." ~ Junie. DaddyBeer is actually CocaCola.

"But Mommy, I don' wandt you to go. I lah-v you. I wandt you to tsay right here wit me." ~my Magnolia girl, nearly every time I've left the house on errands and left her home.
