9/26/2011 UPDATE: My blog is "on hold" for a little bit... there is A LOT going on around here {so there are no worries, everyone is healthy!} and I'm really just not ready to blog about it. I will be back. Thanks for understanding!! :)

BlueEyedGirlphotography

BlueEyedGirl photography started in 2010 when I really got more interested in blogging! I didn't like having to put "theunexpectedworldofmommyhood.blogspot.com" on all my pictures. It just didn't look right; and I certainly didn't feel up-to-par with all my blogging-peers. I did a little self-exploration and came up with "BlueEyedGirl photography".

First let me say that it is, in all its glory, an homage to my very favorite musician & band in the entire world Mr. Robert Plant & Led Zeppelin. He's my favie. And I LOVE Led Zeppelin more than any other music in the entire world. So I have to pay some sort of honor to that, as I am an ambassador of Led Zeppelin to the world. (I could explain that to you, but we're not nearly intoxicated enough for it to make any sense at all.) To make a long story short {too late, name that movie!}, my body requires me to Get the Led Out every day, several times a day. Or my day just doesn't seem right at all.

Bron-yr-Stomp is a song by Zep. The lyric that inspired the name actually goes: "Tell your friends all around the world, ain't no companion like a blue-eyed merle." which is a nod to Mr. Robert Plant's dog, a blue-eyed merle. My best friend {also the other only known Zeppelin ambassador in the world} and I are blue-eyed girls... so we used to replace "merle" with "girl"... you get the idea. :)

Therefore, BlueEyedGirl photography.

{And if you're a Zeppelin fan, you'll also note the feather in my logo.}

{Interesting fact about me: I walked down the aisle at my wedding to Led Zeppelin. I did. Well, I had a guy with an acoustic guitar play for me. It wasn't actually Led Zeppelin. There's no way I'd have made it down the aisle without BeatleMania-style hysterics if Zep was actually there. Hahaha. The song is called: Bron-Yr-Aur (coincidentally to the information in this post) and can be found the Physical Grafitti album. Bron-Yr-Aur came out after the BYAStomp did (Stomp can be found on LZIII), but I couldn't really tell you which one came first. Being a Zeppelin ambassador, though, I really should know these things. Insert sheepish grin, here.}
