2/12/2012 UPDATE: So here's the thing. Hubby & I are getting a divorce. I'm not advised to blog during this time so... Still on hold here. Will blog again when I can, I miss it so dearly. :)
I can still be reached via email: theunexpectedworldofmommyhood@gmail.com Thanks everyone for your prayers and support at this time. The going is tough, but I am tougher and know a better future is waiting. ~ Meg :)

9/26/2011 UPDATE: My blog is "on hold" for a little bit... there is A LOT going on around here {so there are no worries, everyone is healthy!} and I'm really just not ready to blog about it. I will be back. Thanks for understanding!! :)

The Worst Blogger Ever

I'm the worst blogger ever! I have this pretty awesome blog (okay, so it's not really that cool)and I can't keep up with it! It's partly me ~ my anxiety and my ppd (unofficially-diagnosed, but would I really be kidding anybody to deny it?) keep me pretty stressed all of the time, and between Thanksgiving & Christmas.... I just think my body shuts down and puts itself on overdrive. On Function. On Get-Yourself-Thru-Today-We'll-Try-Again-Tomorrow. And it's partly the fact that my husband doesn't really 'get' the whole blogging thing and doesn't really 'get' that I do need quiet time (read: time ALONE) so I can destress and do this whole blogging thing. Lately, naptimes have been more of "Mommy-Screaming-Up-The-Stairs-For-Her-3yearolds-To-Take-A-Nap" time... so I haven't really been able to devote the time I'd like to my blog.

*sigh* This is my life. And I'm sorry for complaining about it because I know other people have life way worse than I do, ever have, and ever will. But then some people will say I really shouldn't be sorry for complaining because well... this is MY life. My Crazy Life. And I'm allowed to complain about it. Right?

In 2011, I am committed to keeping up with this blog. Weekly photo contests/challenges (oh gosh, not hosted by me but I'll participate in yours!), blog posts about our life, etc. I'm gonna do it! It's in my Top 2 New Years Resolutions!

The other resolution, you ask? I'm still in the deciding stage about it (will I commit or won't I?) but I've been in a serious debate with myself about Not Buying Baby/Kids Clothes in 2011. Has anyone ever challenged themselves to that? What a REAL CHALLENGE that would be for me!! I'd be restricted to buying no clothing for my own kids, other than things we'll truly need halfway through the year like: Socks. Or if my children's genes (not 'jeans') suddenly change and they grow three feet and they need new pants. :)

Stick Around, Please Read Again, I Will Be Back. I'll be back before 2011, even. Just not in full form today. :)

  1. I have missed you. Can't wait for you to come back. :D

  2. Thank you Sarah! That was really nice to read! :)
